Local Rule

 

Step-by-Step Procedures:

  1. Select Bankruptcy > Claim Actions

  2. Enter case number and click Next

  3. Select Transfer of Claim Servicing from the event pick list and click Next

  4. Select party you represent from party pick list or Add/create new party

  5. Click Next

The Attorney/Party Association screen may display.  If it does, click here

  1. The following alert will display - click Next

  1. The PDF document selection screen will display.  The document being filed must be uploaded to CM/ECF at this point.

  1. The Claim Selection screen will display. Select the claim from the list, and click Next

  1. You can sort the listing by creditor name and claim #

  1. The following message will appear:

  1. Click Next to continue

  2. Complete Transferee section - Click the Add New Creditor button:

    A pop-up window will appear for you to enter the creditor's name and address:

  3. Add new creditor record to this area, following the instructions on the prior screen - click Submit

  4. Next, complete the Transferor section - Click the Search Creditors button

  5. Select the creditor record which has the claim number at the end

NOTE: The claim number filed is automatically completed by the selection of the creditor record.

  1. The Final Text screen will display.  This is your final opportunity to modify the entry before submitting the filing.

    Verify the accuracy of the docket text:  

    • If corrections are needed use Back button to navigate back to previous screen and make correction or click Bankruptcy to abort filing and start over

    • If entry is correct, click Next to complete the filing process

 


The Notice of Electronic Filling will display. It serves as verification that the filing has been sent electronically to the court.

 

Copies of this notice and the document filed are emailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case. You have a period of 15 days for a one time free look at the documents.
